This law provides, inter alia, for the automatic suspension of parental authority in the event of a crime or prosecution for a crime.

The deadline for judges to issue a protection order (attesting to the reality of the violence and allowing for certain emergency measures) is now 6 days (maximum period). Its issue is not conditional on the existence of a prior complaint.

In addition, the law provides that the victim may, if he wishes, remain in the couple's home. Victims can also receive financial assistance for housing when they leave the couple's home (payment of the security deposit, advance the first months of rent...).

The text also facilitates the use of the anti-rapprochement bracelet to geolocate and keep away abusive spouses (or former spouses) subject to the consent of the people who have to wear this bracelet.

Finally, this law revives the development of the telephone

grave danger

which, with a single key, makes it easier for victims to call for help.

FYI

It is also planned to make available a mobile application enabling victims of violence to obtain all relevant information on the steps to be taken, legal and health professionals settled close to home, associations and services likely to help victims.
