Publié le null - Legal and Administrative Information Directorate (Prime Minister)

Are you a mother's assistant, a mother's assistant or an employer parent? Do you know how to declare custody of your child? Do you know the amount of your unemployment benefit if you lose a contract? Pôle emploi offers a new portal to help you in all these steps. You will also discover the Pajemploi-Pôle emploi service which facilitates the termination procedures of employer parents.

Since March, Pôle emploi has been offering a new gate free of charge for maternity assistants and employer parents in order to provide them with all the information they need for their procedures.

If you are an employer parent and you separate from your maternal assistant, know that you now have access to a service developed jointly by Pajemploi and Pôle emploi to facilitate termination formalities.

The portal is organized around the two accesses according to your profile: childcare or parent employer.

You are a maternal assistant

This area is dedicated to you if you occasionally welcome young children in their parents' care at home or in a nursery. You can also specify whether you work for a private individual or whether you are employed by a private organization.

You have access to all Pôle emploi procedures related to your business:

  • new online update;
  • what to report to Pôle emploi;
  • what to do in case of overpayment;
  • the schedule of payments and updates for the current year.

One Frequently Asked Questions on allowances answers all your questions:

  • how is my allowance calculated in case of loss or resumption of activity?
  • when to stay registered in Pôle emploi?
  • when do i need to send the supporting documents after my update?
  • what do i have to declare if i keep a sibling?
  • should i send my new work contract to Pôle emploi?
  • etc.

The site also provides practical information about what you do, such as what to do if parents refuse to vaccinate their child.

Finally, there is a space

My job search

to access thousands of offers from individual employers on Pôle emploi, the steps to be taken to obtain accreditation, self-service tools (allowances simulators, useful contacts) or even a video presenting the early childhood professions.

You are an individual employer

The portal presents in particular the Pajemploi-Pôle emploi service who simplifies termination procedures that you need to achieve and protects the employee faster for his unemployment insurance benefits.

It is a question of removing all the difficulties associated with the establishment of theemployer attestation (EA) on the occasion of the end of the employment contract as a maternal assistant or as a home child-care worker. Parent employers previously had to generate the employer attestation on the Pôle emploi website. Employer information on Pajemploi is now available to Pôle emploi.

With this service set up at the end of 2021, you have access to the information you need to prepare for the end of the contract:

  • estimate of the balance of any account;
  • duration of notice;
  • the amount of the last salary to be paid (including termination pay, holiday pay, etc.);
  • list of the terms and conditions to be observed vis-à-vis the employee.

In addition, you can edit the required documents:

  • receipt for balance of any account;
  • work certificate;
  • employer's certificate that the employee must hand over to Pôle emploi to assert his unemployment insurance rights.

Please note

this service is open to parents who are members of Pajemploi. They can now carry out all termination procedures directly from their Pajemploi space without having to set up an employer space on Pôle emploi.

The mandatory termination documents are automatically completed with the data already filled in on the Pajemploi website, so you do not have to give them back to Pôle emploi.
