Aspa in 2024: threshold at which the Aspa is recoverable on succession

Published on 1 January 2024

The amounts of the Solidarity Allowance for the Elderly (Aspa) are increased every 1er January.

The amount from which the Aspa is recovered from the net assets of the estate (i.e. the amount of the assets minus debts) is not yet known.

The 2023 amount on this page will be changed as soon as the amount for 2024 is known.

The solidarity allowance for the elderly (Aspa) is a monthly benefit granted to low-income pensioners (income and wealth) and living in France.

It is paid by your pension fund (Carsat: titleContent, MSA, ...).

The amount varies depending on whether you live as a couple or not:

What applies to you ?

What is your family situation?
What is your nationality?
Do you have a retirement pension?
