Checks Central File (FCC)

The Central Checks File (FCC) lists people who are no longer allowed to issue checks or use a credit card due to misuse. The registration in the file is erased in case of regularization of your situation, or automatically after a delay of 2 to 5 years. The FCC may be consulted by authorized bodies. You can be enrolled in the CCF if you are in one of the following situations:

Persons prohibited from issuing checks

The FCC includes the following information:

  • NSF checks that cause a ban (incident number, check amount, date and cause of the refusal, branch bank, etc.)

Persons prohibited from using a credit card

The FCC includes the following information:

Prohibition on issuing checks

If your bank has prohibited you from issuing checks and you do not regulate the situation, you will be enrolled in the FCC for 5 years.
