Child who died at birth: Can you receive family benefits?

The situation differs depending on whether you are under the general scheme (Cf) or the agricultural scheme (MSA).
Caf
Parents may perceive birth premium in any of the following situations:
- Delivery (or termination of pregnancy) occurs on or after 1er day of the calendar month following 5e month of pregnancy (from 6e months of pregnancy), regardless of whether the child was born lifeless (stillborn) or lively and viable.
- Delivery (or termination of pregnancy) occurs before this date for a child born lively and viable (with a birth certificate and a death certificate).
Depending on the case, the fund must be provided with either a birth certificate or proof of pregnancy.

Parents may also perceive the lump-sum allowance paid in the event of the death of a child.
It is granted if the death occurs from the 20the pregnancy week.
The lump sum allowance is €2,163 or €1,082, depending on the parents' income.

MSA
