With a credit card

You can pay your bills (electricity, telephone for example) directly online on the website of the organization that is claiming the money from you.

You need to make sure you are in a secure space. The page where the payment is made must have an address starting with https://. A small green lock must also appear in the address bar of the website.

You must then provide the following information:

  • 16-digit number of your card
  • Effective date: 4 digits for month and year
  • Pictogram: 3 digits located on the back of your card

In case of payment on a fraudulent site, oppose as soon as possible.

Payment by credit card may incur additional charges depending on your account agreement.

FYI

to secure the payment, you must authenticate yourself. This is usually done by sending a notification to you on your bank’s mobile app. This notification prompts you to enter either a passcode or a biometric fingerprint. If you don't have a smartphone, we invite you to get in touch with your bank advisor to find a solution.

Without credit card

Contact the organization to which you have to pay the bill (for example, a condominium trustee or a tax center). He will specify the registration steps to be carried out to access such a payment method. In particular, you must provide your bank details.

Once you have registered, you can log in to the website of the organization to which you have to pay the invoice. You must identify yourself and confirm your agreement to the payment of the invoice. The amount is charged directly to your account.

You can use this payment method to pay each invoice submitted by your debtor. You can also choose how much to charge and when you give your payment order.

FYI

this method of payment sometimes allows you to benefit from an additional payment period (for taxes in particular).
