The rules are different if the purchase takes place between 26 july 2021 and 14 august 2022, or between 15 august 2022 and 28 december 2022.
Conventional non-electric bicycle
General case
To qualify for the aid, you must meet the following conditions:
- Being of age
- Be domiciled in France
- Your reference tax income per share is less than or equal to €6,358
(2020 revenue for a purchase in 2022, 2021 revenue for a purchase in 2023)
The aid shall be paid at most once per person.
Person with a disability
To qualify for the aid, you must meet the following conditions:
- Being of age
- Be domiciled in France
- benefit from one or more aids (AAH, MVA, AEEH, PCH) or have a mobility card inclusion marked with a disability or a military disability card, or a disability card
The aid shall be paid at most once per person.
The bicycle must fulfill the following conditions:
- Be nine
- Have a unique identifier inscribed on the frame
You must not not sell the bike within one year of purchase.
The amount of the State aid shall be 40 % of the acquisition cost, up to €150.
Electric Bike
General case
To qualify for the aid, you must meet the following conditions:
- Being of age
- Be domiciled in France
- Your reference tax income per share is less than or equal to €14,089
(2020 revenue for a purchase in 2022, 2021 revenue for a purchase in 2023)
The aid shall be paid at most once per person.
Person with a disability
To qualify for the aid, you must meet the following conditions:
- Being of age
- Be domiciled in France
- benefit from one or more aids (AAH, MVA, AEEH, PCH) or have a mobility card inclusion marked with a disability or a military disability card, or a disability card
The aid shall be paid at most once per person.
The electric bicycle must fulfill the following conditions:
- Be nine
- Have a battery unleaded
- Have an auxiliary electric motor with a maximum continuous rated power of 0.25 kilowatts. The engine power must be reduced and then interrupted when the vehicle reaches a speed of 25 km/h, or earlier if you stop pedaling.
- Have a unique identifier inscribed on the frame
You must not not sell the bike within one year of purchase.

Cargo bicycle, folding, adapted for people with disabilities (electric or not), electric trailer
General case
To qualify for the aid, you must meet the following conditions:
- Being of age
- Be domiciled in France
- Your reference tax income per share is less than or equal to €14,089
(2020 income for a purchase in 2020, 2021 income for a purchase in 2023)
The aid shall be paid at most once per person.
Person with a disability
To qualify for the aid, you must meet the following conditions:
- Being of age
- Be domiciled in France
- benefit from one or more aids (AAH, MVA, AEEH, PCH) or have a mobility card inclusion marked with a disability or a military disability card, or a disability card.
The aid shall be paid at most once per person.
FYI
one legal person established in France can also benefit from the bonus until December 31, 2022 for a cargo bike, adapted for people with disabilities, a folding bike or an electric trailer.
The bicycle or electric trailer must be nine
The bicycle can be electrically or non-electrically assisted.
The bicycle or electric trailer must have a unique identifier inscribed on the frame.
