The 20the editing Go to the gardens, to be held from 2 to 4 June 2023, has as its theme

The music in the garden

. Acoustic walks, sound installations, concerts, walks, musical readings... Come and listen to the sounds of the garden, more than 2,200 parks and public and private gardens open their doors to offer entertainment for 3 days.

For 20 years, this event has allowed the public to visit the parks and gardens of France, whether private or public, in order to promote their richness and biodiversity. Since 2018, 400 parks and gardens from 19 other European countries are also taking part in the event.

The 2023 edition offers workshops, guided tours, demonstrations of know-how, exchanges with professionals (botanists, gardeners, landscapers...), musical walks, concerts and even plant trocks. Throughout the weekend, thousands more activities will be organized for all audiences, beginners and enlightened enthusiasts.

The aim is to highlight the richness and variety of parks and gardens, historical and contemporary, and the preservation of a cultivated nature. These Go to the gardens They also provide an opportunity to raise awareness among visitors of the many actions taken to conserve, restore, create gardens and pass on knowledge and know-how.

Please note

20e 2023 edition of Go to the gardens, it is:

  • 2,038 gardens open throughout the territory;
  • 3,046 organized activities, including 1,409 on the theme of garden music;
  • 580 exceptional openings and first openings;
  • 350 gardens in 19 other participating European countries.
