Do you know that in case of an emergency call on a motorway, only professionals approved by the public authorities can help you? It is by order that the rates for their interventions are fixed, the latest order having just been published in the Official Journal of 4 July 2023.
In case of on-site troubleshooting (including a return trip of the professional and a repair of a maximum duration of 30 minutes), the package amounts to €144.52.
For troubleshooting requiring towing (at a rest or service area, to the convenience store shop or at a location chosen by the driver), the new rates, which vary depending on the weight of the vehicle, are as follows:
€144.52 for vehicles weighing less than or equal to 1,8 tons;
€178.70 for vehicles with a total weight of more than 1,8 tons and less than 3,5 tons.
Please note
these prices shall be increased by 50% if the emergency call was made between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. or on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
