Under the leadership of the Autorité des marchés financiers, the Direction générale du Travail, the Association française de la gestion financière and La finance pour tous, the 6e Wage Savings Week takes place on March 27 to 31, 2023.

The objective of the event

The purpose of this event is to provide objective and practical employees and companies on existing wage savings schemes.

With this in mind, the new version of the site payroll savings-france.fidentify events organized by the event partners. The first certified events will take place from 21 March for companies and 22 March 2023 for employees.

Wage Savings Week is organized as part of the National Financial Education Strategy, spearheaded by the Ministry of Economy in 2016. The aim of the training is in particular to improve practical knowledge of financial subjects and understanding of economic concepts.

What is wage savings?

Wage savings are collective savings schemes in which each employee receives a premium linked to the company’s performance (profit-sharing) or representing a share of its profits (participation).

The sums distributed to the employee may, depending on his choice, be paid directly to him or placed in wage savings plans:

  • Company Savings Plan (PEE);
  • Retirement Savings Plan (RIP).

The objectives of wage savings are to promote collective savings, develop employee ownership and strengthen companies' recruitment offers.

To this end, wage savings schemes benefit from tax and social benefits. They are therefore advantageous for both the employee and the employer.

Please note

The Collective Retirement Savings Plan (Perco) can no longer be implemented by the company since 2020, but it is still possible to make payments.
