Launch of an occupational safety campaign

In the face of the large number of serious and fatal accidents at work, the government has launched a campaign called Safety at work: responsibility of the company, vigilance of all in order to raise awareness among employers and employees about these risks of accidents.

In 2021, more than 640 000 accidents at work have been declared for employees of the general scheme and the agricultural scheme. 39,000 of them led to a declaration of permanent incapacity and 693 to one death.

In addition, every day in France, more than 100 employees are seriously injured and 2 die as a result of work.

In order to reduce these high numbers, the government has embarked on a prevention campaign based on a short clip and testimonial videos.

Aims of this campaign

The countryside Safety at work: responsibility of the company, vigilance of all aims to:

  • informing and raising awareness among employers, employees and the general public about serious or fatal accidents at work;
  • recall the responsibility of the company in preventing accidents;
  • reaffirm the existence of legal, preventive and protective measures;
  • more recognition of hazardous situations at work.

Accident at work For an l'l to be recognized, 2 conditions must be completed:

  • to have been the victim of a accidental fact (sudden and unexpected) in the framework of your work ;
  • the accident caused a physical and/or psychological damage.
