Should a child who moves to a new commune change schools?

If your child is enrolled in kindergarten or elementary school and you're moving, he can to complete his schooling at the same school.

For example, if your child has started the school year in a small kindergarten section and you move during the year, he or she may stay in the same institution until the end of the large kindergarten section. He will have to change schools for his return to the first grade (beginning of primary school).

If your child has started his/her school year in CP and you move in the middle of the year, he/she will be able to stay in the same institution until the end of his/her CM2.
