What is a marginal statement on a civil status document?

Marginal notice allows the monitoring of the development of information concerning a person and his family and its modification in a civil status document.
It shall be positioned on the side, in the margin, of the civil status document.
It indicates, among other things, the nature, date and place of the event (birth, marriage, death, etc.) which is mentioned.
It shall also include the date on which the entry is made, the capacity of the registrar who updated it and his signature.
The following situations lead to the drafting of a marginal reference to the birth certificate and/or the marriage certificate.
