Disability: school enrollment in middle and high schools
Verified 27 October 2021 - Directorate for Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)
Any child or adolescent with a disability is registered in the facility closest to his or her home. The establishment is its reference. But if your child's disability requires a suitable device, it can be directed towards specialized education.
You must in a 1er time enroll your child in a college or secondary school from your sector.
You should then contact your department's Departmental Disability Center (DDPH) to analyze your child's needs.
Its needs are specified in a personalized schooling project (PPS).
The MDPH's Committee on the Rights and Autonomy of Persons with Disabilities (CDAPH) decides on your child's orientation.
This orientation is written in your child's PPS.
