If your passport has been stolen, a flight declaration must be made. This declaration must be provided on the renewal application. The other documents to be provided in support of the file depend on the type of passport that was stolen.

The passport is not manufactured on the premises. It cannot therefore be issued immediately.
Manufacturing lead times depend on the location and time of application. For example, as the summer holidays approach, delays may be longer.

In the majority of countries, you can request that the passport be sent to you by mail. But you have to be registered in the foreigner of the same country, have an email address and be able to transmit files over the Internet.
If you request mail delivery, a postage-paid envelope purchased from the authorised service provider in the country must be provided at the time of filing, in addition to the necessary supporting documents. Consulate should be consulted to determine the eligible recipient, the size of the envelope to be provided and the postage required.
