The Crit'Air tile, or air quality certificate, is mandatory to travel during peak pollution in case of differentiated circulation and low emission mobility zone (ZFE-m). All vehicles are concerned: car, lightweight, lorry. A professional space on the official website for the delivery of the Crit'Air label allows you to order one for a fleet of vehicles. You can also get the thumbnail online or by mail.
Who is concerned?
All vehicle types must have a Crit'Air label: car, utility, motorcycle, scooter lorry...
It is mandatory to drive:
- in the event of the implementation of differentiated circulation,
- and low emission mobility zone (ZFE-m).
The Crit'Air sticker is visible on the vehicle.
It indicates its level of pollution.
There 6 thumbnails : the higher the number of the sticker, the more polluted the vehicle.
Example :
In the ZFE-m of the Greater Paris Metropolis , light vehicles (PTAC: titleContent ⩽ 3.5 tons) not classified or bearing the Crit'Air 4 or Crit'Air 5 sticker may not circulate from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 8pm, excluding public holidays. This traffic restriction applies to heavy goods vehicles 7 days a week, from 8am to 8pm.

review air quality certificate site if the vehicle is retrofitted, as it can benefit from a better rated air cryer under conditions. A retrofitted vehicle is a vehicle equipped with a pollutant emission control device settled after 1re traffic.

What is the price of the Crit'Air decal?
The price of the Crit'Air sticker excluding shipping costs is €3.11.
If you buy a sticker, the price is €3.67 shipping included.
If you place a bundle, the price depends on the shipping method you choose.
Where should I paste the Crit'Air label?
You must stick the sticker to the front of the vehicle so that it is visible from the outside:
- For a 2 or 3-wheel drive: on the fork
- For car, utility, lorry....: inside the vehicle, front visible from the outside, on the lower right of the windscreen
What fine for violating the law?
The fine is different for a light vehicle and a lorry.
For a light vehicle (PTAC ⩽ 3.5 tons)
Move in low emission mobility zone (ZFE-m) with an unauthorised vehicle or without a Crit'Air sticker is fined up to €450.
In general, this is a flat-rate fine of €68.
The same fine is provided if you do not respect the traffic restrictions in case of differentiated circulation during a peak of pollution.
The following vehicles are involved:
- Private car
- 2 or 3 wheels, quadricycles
- Thin Utility
This offence may immobilisation of the vehicle and impound.
For a heavyweight
Move in low emission mobility zone (ZFE-m) with lorry unauthorised or without a Crit'Air sticker is fined up to €3,750.
In general, this is a flat-rate fine of €135.
The same fine is provided if you do not respect the traffic restrictions in case of differentiated circulation during a peak of pollution.
This offence may immobilisation of the vehicle and impound.
