"Heating boost" bonus

Do you want to replace your heating with a less energy-intensive installation? You can benefit from a financial assistance called “Hot Boost”. We will tell you what the conditions are and how to take advantage of them.
The Premium Heating Boost is financial assistance for the replacement of a non-condensing coal, oil or gas boiler with one of the following:
- Efficient biomass boiler (boiler that uses an organic fuel such as wood and its derivatives)
- Air/water heat pump
- Water/water heat pump (geothermal heat pump)
- Hybrid heat pump (system combining air/water heat pump and condensing boiler technology)
- Combined solar system (system combining a solar panel and a storage balloon)
- Connection to a renewable energy (ENR&R) heat network
- High performance wood heating

You can benefit from the bonus if you own or rent a detached house.
If you are a tenant, the landlord must authorize the work you wish to undertake. However, you do not have to provide a document justifying this agreement in order to benefit from the premium.
Your home must have been built more than 2 years ago.
This may be your principal residence or secondary.
Every households may benefit from the premium.
However, the amount of the bonus differs depending on the nature of the work you want to undertake and the level of your resources. Households with modest incomes benefit from a larger premium.
The revenues retained are reference tax revenue (RFR) of year N-2 (2022 for applications made in 2024).

The premium application must be made for work for which the commitment date is no later than December 31, 2025 and the completion date shall be no later than December 31, 2026.
To apply for a bonus, you must follow the order of the following steps:

- Select an EGR professional to carry out your work

The invoice must expressly mention the removal of existing heating equipment and the indication of the heating energy (coal, fuel oil, gas or electricity) and the type of equipment removed (except in the case of exhaust pipes for combustion products). In the case of replacement of a boiler, it shall be specified that it is a boiler other than a condensing boiler (failing this, the trade mark and the reference of the boiler applied for shall be mentioned). The invoice shall indicate the performance of the settled heating equipment where this is required by the relevant standardized operation fiche.
- Send the supporting documents of your work to the company or its partner (invoices, certificate signed by you and delivered by the company that summarizes the work)
