Dissolve a Civil partnership - Death

In the event of death, the Civil partnership is automatically dissolved. There's no process to go through.
The dissolution of the Civil partnership shall take effect on the date of the death of the partner.

the past partner is not an heir, unless a will is made in his favor.
The registrar (or notary) records the dissolution of the Civil partnership.
The registrar notes the dissolution of the Civil partnerships in the margins of your birth certificates.
If you are a foreigner born abroad, the dissolution is recorded in the register of the civil registry office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The registrar or notary shall inform the surviving partner after having recorded the dissolution of the Civil partnership.
