RSA and activity bonus: what does stable and effective residence mean in France?
Verified 06 April 2022 - Directorate for Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)
To touch the RSA: titleContent or the activity premium, you must permanently reside in France.
The duration of stay(s) outside France must not exceed 3 months by calendar year or from date to date.
However, if you stay more than 3 months abroad, you can receive the RSA or activity bonus but only for the full months of presence in France.
The stable and effective residence must not be confused with being homeless, stable or fixed.
You can collect the RSA or activity premium if you are homeless and live permanently in France. You must then make domiciled with a CCAS: titleContent or a recognized organization.
