Activity premium: self-employed person

The activity premium replaces the activity RSA and the employment premium. Self-employed workers in the agricultural and non-agricultural sectors, over 18 years of age, may benefit under certain conditions. The activity bonus is requested via an online service or from the Caf: titleContent or the MSA: titleContent.
You're French
To be eligible for the activity bonus, you must meet all of the following conditions:
- Have a professional activity and receive modest income
- Reside in France in a stable and effective manner
The lump sum (basic amount for calculating the activity premium) is equal to €622.63.

Activity Premium Application - Cif
After examination of your file and favorable opinion by the services of the Caf, you receive a notification allocation for a period of 3 months.
The reference period is the quarter preceding the quarter in which you receive the activity bonus.
The amount paid to you is fixed for 3 months, it does not take into account changes in your household's resources.
If you receive a decision refusing an award, you can appeal.
You are dependent on the agricultural plan (ASM)
You must apply online.
After having examined your file and received a favorable opinion from the MSA, you will receive a notification allocation for a period of 3 months.
The reference period is the quarter preceding the quarter in which you receive the activity bonus.
The amount paid to you is fixed for 3 months, it does not take into account changes in your household's resources.
If you receive a decision refusing an award, you can appeal.
The activity bonus is paid to you from 1er the day of the month in which you filed your application.
The premium is paid monthly (e.g. the March activity premium is paid in April), by the Caf: titleContent or the MSA: titleContent from your department.
The activity bonus is not taxable.
the amount below which the activity premium is not paid shall be €15.
Quarterly reporting and review of premium entitlement
Every quarter, you must declare on the Internet all the resources (net) of your hearth for the possible revaluation of the activity premium.

Agricultural Scheme (AMM)
When you have received too much activity bonus, your CFOC or CMSA may ask you to refund it for 2 years.
The overpayment shall be recovered by deduction from the forthcoming activity premium.
If you no longer collect the premium, the CFOA or CMSA may recover the amounts wrongly collected by deduction from the monthly payments of other upcoming benefits.
The deduction may be made on the family benefits, Disabled Adult Allowance and housing allowances.
In order to challenge a decision on the activity bonus, you must appeal to your CAF's or CMSA's Amicable Appeals Board.
This appeal must be made within a period of 2 months from the receipt of the decision you wish to challenge.
If you are not, you can then submit a litigation before the administrative court.
You're a foreigner
To be eligible for the activity bonus, you must meet all of the following conditions:
- Have a professional activity and receive modest income
- Reside in France in a stable and effective manner
- Be in regular stay.
The conditions of residence to be fulfilled depend on your nationality (European or foreigner of another country).
European
You must have right of residence in France and have lived there for at least 3 months at the time of application.
Foreigner of another country
You must meet one of the following conditions:
- Have for at least 5 years a residence permit allowing to work in France
- Being a single parent with a dependent child under 3 years of age and a residence permit
- Have the resident card
- Have the refugee status
- Be recognized stateless person
- To be a beneficiary of the subsidiary protection
Warning
if you are a worker posted temporarily to France, you are not entitled to the activity premium.
