Following the disruptions and punctuality difficulties that occurred on the Paris transport networks during 2022, the president of Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) announced on February 9, 2023, the launch of two cumulative refund campaigns to compensate Navigo package subscribers.

The first campaign concerns the quality of service of buses and subways between September and December 2022. The second campaign is linked to the punctuality of the RER B and D for the whole of 2022.

“Quality of service” campaign for all Navigo plan subscribers

All Francilians holding a Navigo package between September and December 2022 are eligible for the half-month refund campaign. The compensation is therefore €37.60, half the price of the Navigo pass in 2022.

Contract punctuality campaign

In 2022, 5 network axes, operated by SNCF and RATP on behalf of Île-de-France Mobilités, show a punctuality rate of less than 80% for at least 3 months, giving the right to reimbursements for all persons living or working on these axes:

  • 1/2 month Navigo subscription (€37.60) : if you have purchased at least 3 months of eligible Navigo package during the months below the 80% punctuality;
  • 1 month Navigo subscription (€75.20) : if you have purchased at least 6 months of eligible Navigo package during the months below the 80% punctuality.

Subscribers to the Navigo Month, Annual, Senior, Solidarity Month 75% and 50%, imagine R Student and School Package are eligible for reimbursement campaigns.

The refund is not automatic. Subscribers must register on the compensation area between March 14 and April 20, 2023 by providing proof of payment or the annual Navigo pass number.
