Registration error on the voters' list: you can go to court until election day

You registered in time on the electoral lists, you checked your electoral situation, but you are not registered on the lists? You were removed from the electoral rolls without prior notice? Service-Public.fr explains the possible remedies.

You had until Friday 3 May 2024 to register to vote in the European elections. In order to check your situation, you can asking online about your electoral situation.

If you registered on time, and despite that you are not registered to vote, you can appeal.

What to do depends on your situation:

After you submit your application to register on the voters list, the mayor must send you within 7 days a letter informing you of his decision. In case of deletion, he must also notify you of his decision.

Warning  

If you have not received any mail and you are not on the voters’ list, you can enter the court of justice. The judge has until polling day to rule.

Reminder

To vote in the next European elections, you can, in some cases, register after May 3, 2024.
