Citizenship Papers

The exit from the health emergency and the post-crisis regime that followed end on July 31, 2022. The law of 30 July 2022 puts an end to these exceptional regimes created to fight the COVID-19 epidemic. In order to be able to take the necessary and proportionate measures that a resumption of the epidemic might require, the law nevertheless maintains a surveillance and health security system for combating Covid-19 as well as the possibility to request a negative test for travelers of at least 12 years of age to the national territory from the foreigner but also from or to the ultramarine territories.

Work

In accordance with the law, the level of the Smic will therefore increase by 2.01% at 1er August 2022. It will thus amount to € 1,678.95 gross monthly, or € 1,329.05 net.

Calculation of the guarantee allowance (Gipa)

In order to compensate for a loss of purchasing power, officials of the State civil service and of the territorial and hospital civil service may, under certain conditions, receive an allowance called an "individual guarantee of purchasing power" (Gipa).

Silver

After a revision to 1% in February 2022, the rate of livret A is reassessed at 2% from 1er August 2022 due to inflation. The popular savings account increased from 2.2% to 4.6%. The exceptional fuel assistance is being extended until August 31, 2022. To offset the price increase, the Emergency Purchasing Power Protection Act of 16 August 2022 aims to limit the impact of inflation on the household budget. Fuel rebate, tariff shield on energy, upgrading of the index point of civil servants, abolition of the audiovisual fee... Here are some of the measures in the 2022 amending budget.

Transport

The aid for the purchase of a bicycle is extended under conditions of means or disability, until 31 December 2022. In order to improve purchasing power, the exemption ceilings attached to this scheme are increased from 18 August 2022.

Family

Transfer of coffin, deadline for a concession takeover abandoned, framework for the recovery of metals from cremation... Funeral law will evolve as of August 7, 2022.
