Are you a student or represent a student association? Applications are open to propose events for the Student Week of Ecology and Solidarity, scheduled from March 27 to April 2, 2023 throughout France. This year's theme is solidarity. The Student Week of Ecology and Solidarity (SEES), formerly known as Student Week of Sustainable Development, has been in existence since 2015 and is organized by the Student Network for an Ecological and Solidarity business (RESES). The RESTS carry out projects related to environmental and social issues such as food, biodiversity, climate, waste, etc. The 2023 edition focuses on solidarity issues.

Objective of the event: to raise 100% of students' awareness of ecological and solidarity issues, in particular through theAgenda 2030 adopted by the United Nations, which includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Who is eligible to host an event?

Students, student associations, higher education institutions, the Crous.

How to apply?

The Official Week runs from March 27 to April 2, 2023, with events labeled between March 13 and April 15, 2023.

Before April 15, 2023, you can request the labeling of your event like an attic void, a barter event, a repair or eco-design workshop...

Five awards to recognize the work of student associations

For the third year in a row, and in order to highlight the involvement of the student community and higher education institutions in environmental issues, an award has been awarded for actions on one of the five Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) supported by RESES:

  • The fight against hunger.
  • Good health and well-being.
  • Reducing inequalities.
  • Sustainable cities and communities.
  • Sustainable consumption patterns and production.
