The apprenticeship contract

The apprenticeship contract is an employment contract which allows for periods of training in company and apprenticeship training centers to be completed alternately. How is this contract going? For 2022, 837,000 apprenticeship contracts were concluded, an increase of 14% over 2021 (plus an additional 100,500 apprentices). The milestone of 10,000 apprentices with disabilities was also reached, a 21% increase from 2021. Check out the learning figures for 2022.

To maintain this momentum and reach the goal of one million apprentices in 2027, as well as further improve the quality of training offered to young people in apprenticeship, the Government wants to:

• extending aid for companies until 2027;
• sustain the devices as Pre-Learning have a proven track record of bringing young people away from work into apprenticeships;
• strengthening the role of the State in monitoring the quality of training provided in the Apprenticeship Training Center (CFA).
