The dates of the parliamentary elections

The decree summoning voters for the election of deputies to the National Assembly was published in the Official Journal of 10 June 2024. It specifies the dates of the vote.

While the decree to dissolve the National Assembly appeared in the Official Journal of 10 june 2024, the summons of electors to the parliamentary elections shall be sunday, june 30, 2024 for the appointment of the 577 Members, including 11 French Members from outside France.

The second round of voting, if necessary, shall be fixed at sunday, july 7, 2024.

By way of derogation, legislative elections shall be held on saturday, june 29, and july 6, 2024 for the second round, in the same way, in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin, Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, French Polynesia and at the polling stations opened by the embassies and consular posts located on the American continent.

Polling stations will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (until 8:00 p.m. in some cities, by way of derogation from the prefecture).

Please note

For French citizens residing abroad and registered on a consular electoral list, it is possible to vote by electronic channel. The dates of the electronic voting for the 2024 parliamentary elections are as follows:

  • first round: from Tuesday 25 June at 12 noon to Thursday 27 June at 12 noon;
  • second round: from wednesday 3 july at 12 pm to thursday 4 july at 6 pm.

You must have provided a valid email address and phone number so that the administration can send you your username (via email) and password (via SMS). No further formalities are required. Check your personal information, email addresses and phones for updates on Service-public.fr or by contacting your consulate.

Be careful, for these elections, the update must be done no later than midnight on 16 June.
