The notary keeps the original of your deed of ownership, called the minute.

You can contact your notary's study to get a copy of that document. You will be charged for unarchiving and copying. These fees vary according to the studies.

Application to the Land Advertising Service

Purchase from 1956

The land advertising service is an administrative and tax service where notarial acts are registered. You can obtain a copy of your deed of ownership from the property advertising department on which your property depends. Copying is not free (€6 to €30 depending on the type of document).

The request is made by means of a form preferably sent by registered letter with notice of receipt.

Copy of documents (bill of sale, donation, joint ownership settlement...) registered after January 1, 1956
