What is the Connected Heating Boost bonus and how to benefit from it? We are taking stock of the regulations.

The bonus helps you finance the installation of programmable thermostats on your heaters to reduce your energy consumption and lower your energy bills.

It also aims to help you to anticipate the obligation to install an automatic room heating temperature control system by 1er january 2027.

This scheme applies to transactions initiated since 1er december 2023 and until December 31, 2024.

The premium is paid by the signatories (or partners) of the Charter Boost Connected heating control room by room:

These are mainly the energy sellers.

Each signatory presents its offer on its website.

The premium is for detached houses and apartments with individual heating.

Warning  

This premium does not apply to the facilities of collective heating.

You can claim the bonus for the following installation jobs:

  • Purchase and installation of a new time program control system (thermostat) room by room on a heating system that does not have one
  • Purchase and installation of a new time programming control system (thermostat) piece by piece to replace an existing control system of no more than class C according to NF EN ISO 52120-1. For the purposes of NF EN ISO 52120-1, class C means individual regulation per part by means of thermostatic valves or electronic regulators.

This purchase must comply with the standard operating sheet BAR-TH-173 Hourly programming control system, piece by piece.

these thermostats are used to regulate the use of your individual heating for reduce your energy consumption and lower your energy bills.

To apply for a bonus, you must follow the order of the following steps:

  • Verify that you are eligible (heating category and nature of work to be carried out)
  • Choose the signatory company or one of its partners. It is recommended to compare the different offers available on each signatory's website
  • Accept the offer of the signatory of the charter or one of its partners before signing the work estimate. Such an offer must include a document describing the proposal.
  • Select a professional to carry out your work. You can choose a Recognized Environmental Guarantor (EGR) professional. One yearbook is at your disposal.
  • Sign the quotation offered by the professional (attention, equipment performance requirements apply)
  • Have the work done by the professional
  • Verify that the invoice specifically mentions the installation of the control system and its performance level in accordance with the requirements of the standardized transaction log
  • Send documents (invoice, attestation on honor) to the signatory of the charter or its partner.

The amount of the premium shall be minimum value of €520 times by one area correction factor dependent on the heated surface housing.

Example :

For a house with a heated surface of 50 m², you can get the sum of €312 (520 x 0.6).

The premium shall be paid as follows:

  • Either by bank transfer
  • Either by check
  • Be deducted from your invoice
  • Or in another form (for example, vouchers) agreed with the person with whom you signed the contract of service

The signatory or his partner undertakes, by means of a commitment charter, that the professional who has carried out the installation proves that it is functional. This is the case when, in particular, the equipment is well controllable and all the heat emitters receive the setpoint emitted by the central apparatus in order to reach the setpoint temperature.

A check can be done to verify this.

In addition, the signatory of the charter or its partner must ask the trader who carried out the work of to take photographs reliably geolocated and time-stamped the following:

  • Control interface controlling each heat emitter
  • Devices regulating the emission of heat emitters according to the set point emitted by the central apparatus (thermostatic valve, electronic head or actuator settled on each heat emitter in the case of electric radiators)

These photographs are kept by the signatory or his partner for 6 years. This period starts from the time these photographs are obtained.

Yes, the premium may be combined with MaPrimeRenovate' and Eco-PTZ.

However, it cannot be combined with the others boost bonus.
