Support for international student mobility

You can benefit from international mobility aid if you want to follow a higher education abroad.

This training must take place as part of an exchange program or an international internship.

It can be granted to you if you meet the following 2 conditions:

• You benefit from a scholarship on social criteria or a annual specific aid
• You are preparing a national diploma corresponding to the competence of the Ministry of Higher Education

You must remove a mobility aid application file from your institution's international relations department, complete it and then submit it to that department.

The application must be accompanied by a plan for study or internship abroad.

Your application is selected by the university president or head of institution, according to the following 2 criteria :

• Quality and pedagogical interest of your individual project
• Compliance with the international policy of the university or institution

The university president or head of institution also decides how many monthly payments you will receive.

You must inquire sufficiently early before departure about the time required to review the file.

Your stay abroad giving entitlement to the aid must be included between 2 consecutive months and 9 consecutive months.

For the 2023-24 academic year, the amount of support is €400 per month.

The aid shall consist of at least two and a maximum of nine monthly payments.

The institution will inform you, before your departure abroad, of the amount of aid allocated to you.

Throughout your higher education, you can benefit from mobility assistance several times.

However, the aid may not exceed a total of nine cumulative months.

The aid is paid monthly by your institution.

The property can pay you at least one monthly fee before your departure.

Assistance for international mobility may be combined with merit aid and with a scholarship on social criteria.
