How many mandatory medical examinations does a child have to undergo?
From birth to age 16, he must pass 20.
These tests will monitor your child's health until adolescence. They are supported at 100% whoever does it.

Up to 6 years
The content of these examinations shall cover:
- Growth Curve
- Psychomotricity
- Child's emotional life
- Early detection of abnormalities or deficiencies
- Vaccinations
- Health-promoting behaviors and environments, in particular physical activity and sport
- Screening for possible contraindications to sports participation.
These tests help ensure that
- Good child health
- And refer the family to additional care if needed.
Test results are listed:
- In the child's health record
- And, possibly, in My health space (shared medical record) of the child.

Please note
a medical examination is organized at the school for children aged 3 to 4 years.
It is part of the 20 compulsory examinations reimbursed by the health insurance.
The examinations are carried out:
- Either by the attending physician of the child
- Either by a doctor chosen by the child's parents or by the child's custodian
- Either by a doctor at a Maternal and Child Protection (PMI) consultation
- Or by a doctor at the school for the medical examination of children aged 3 to 4 years.

Persons responsible for the child must present the children at these visits unless they can provide a medical certificate. This document then attests that the examination corresponding to the age of the child was carried out by a health professional of their choice.
Exam consultations are reimbursed to 100%, without advance payment for parents, except overpayment of fees.

For the 8e day, 9e months and 24e month, the price of the consultation shall be €47.5 (no fee overrun possible).
After 6 years
The content of these examinations shall cover:
