The identity papers to be presented to vote are to be chosen from 12 documents. These documents must be valid, with the exception of the national identity card and passport, which are also accepted if they have expired less than 5 years ago.

The voter must present the original of his or her identity document. Photography or photocopying of the identity document is not permitted.

The presentation of electoral map is recommended but not mandatory to vote.

FYI

It is possible to vote by presenting only your electoral map in municipalities with less than 1,000 inhabitants. However, you must be able to prove your identity if the president of the polling station asks you to do so.

Please note

The number and address of your polling station are written on your electoral map. You will find them next to the mention

polling place

. You can also find your polling station on the online service Questioning your electoral situation by indicating the municipality in which you are registered, your first and last names, your sex and your date of birth. This online service will give you the number of your polling station and its address.
