Family

As of July 1, 2022, an adult may change their name to that of their mother, father or both, if they were not already wearing them, by simple declaration to civil status. As of 1er july 2021, the paternity and childcare leave so far scheduled for 11 consecutive calendar days is increased to 25 split days for a single birth and 18 to 32 days for multiple births. The first high school scholarship application campaign is open until July 6. The main admission phase of Parcoursup will close on July 15. As of July 15, candidates who are still on waiting lists from institutions they have selected will be required to prioritize their wishes to remain on those lists. Summer holidays start on Thursday, July 7 after class.

Work

3.5% increase in the Public Service Employee Index Point on July 1, 2022. The new profession of Commissioner of Justice brings together, from 1er July 2022, the powers of judicial bailiffs and auctioneers.

Accommodation

At 1er july 2022, individuals offering rental accommodation must indicate information about the property being rented on the listing. End of oil or coal boilers from 1 July and possible cumulation of the zero-interest eco-loan and MaPrimeRénov'.

Money, consumption and financial aid

Fragrance substances, such as oak foam extract or methyl heptin carbonate with a violet smell, will be prohibited in children's toys from 5 July 2022. Others will have to be explicitly reported. The 2022 summer sales end on July 19 in metropolitan France, except in the Maritime Alps and Corsica. Freelance journalists who experienced a drop in revenue between 2019 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 crisis can apply for financial assistance until July 15, 2022. The rebate of 15-18 euro cents per liter of fuel will end on 31 July.

Transport

From 6 July 2022, new models of vehicles manufactured in the European Union must be equipped with a black box. For Crit'Air 3 vehicles (pre-2010 diesel engines, pre-2006 petrol), the Metropolis of Greater Paris has pushed back to 1er July 2023 the ban on driving in the M-EPZ delimited by the A86, it was initially to take place on 1er July 2022. The ecological bonus scales are maintained until December 31, 2022.

End of the health crisis regime

The health emergency exit regime ends on July 31. Extended several times, it allows the Prime Minister to take by decree the necessary measures to fight the COVID-19 epidemic, and to accompany the sectors concerned. Most of these measures (health passes, wearing masks on public transport, limiting gatherings, etc.) have been lifted in recent months.
