Complementary health and solidarity: simplified allocation for certain beneficiaries

Published on 1 January 2024

Law No. 2023-1250 of 26 December 2023 on financing social security for 2024 provides for a simplified allocation and automatic renewal of the Solidarity Supplementary Health Benefit (C2S) for part of those receiving:

  • Supplementary Invalidity Allowance (SIA)
  • Disabled Adult Allowance (AHH)
  • The Specific Solidarity Allowance (SSA) and the Youth Employment Contract (YCA) allowance.

An Order in Council will set the exact date for the coming into force of these amendments. Once published, this page will be updated. In the meantime, the information remains up to date.

Do you have low resources? The complementary health solidarity helps you with your health expenses. It replaces supplementary universal health coverage (CMU-C). It allows you to get reimbursed the additional part of your health expenses. This means that this aid covers what is not reimbursed by the Health Insurance. Solidarity health supplement is free or paid according to your income.
