Do you have low resources? The complementary health solidarity helps you with your health expenses. It replaces supplementary universal health coverage (CMU-C). It allows you to get reimbursed the additional part of your health expenses. This means that this aid reimburses what is not reimbursed by the Health Insurance. Solidarity health supplement is free or paid according to your income.

If you have scarce resources , the solidarity health complementary helps you with your health expenditure.

Thanks to the solidarity health supplement, your health expenses are reimbursed in full, within the limits of the social security rates.

Warning

Without this help, you have to pay the complementary share, that is which is not refunded by Health Insurance.

In addition to financial assistance, you are entitled to other benefits:

No fee overruns on medical rates if you respect your care pathway. This means going through your doctor first before going to see a specialist
In case of hospitalization, reimbursement of daily flat rate. This is the daily amount you normally have to pay for accommodation and food
No medical deductible or flat-rate participation by €1 to be paid
Third-party payer : you do not have to advance medical expenses.
Reimbursement packages for prostheses dental, glasses, aid auditory
Reimbursement packages for medical devices such as a cane, one wheelchair or bandages
Discounts on your train tickets depending on the region (if you have the complementary free solidarity health)

Please note

The solidarity health supplement is automatically granted to persons under 25 years of age who are dependent on beneficiaries of active solidarity income (SSA). This right shall be automatically renewed after a period of one year.

Based on your income

To obtain the health supplement, your income must not exceed a certain amount. It is free or paid for depending on your income level.

if you receive the active solidarity income (RSA), you are entitled to the free solidarity health supplement. This assignment of the CSS is automatic unless you object.

If you have income from investments subject to income tax (savings account, bank savings book, futures account, Perp...), the income taken into account is that of the last known tax notice.

If you touch a housing aid or if you are hosted for free or proprietor of your accommodation, a lump sum is added to your resources. This package depends on the number of people in the household.

Your health insurance body give you its decision no later than 2 months after receiving your request. If you don't get an answer for more than 2 months after your request, it means your request is accepted.

You have 2 months from the day you received the refusal (notification) to apply to the Amicable Appeals Board (CRA).

C2S Free

Complementary health solidarity free lasts 1 year from the date indicated on the certificate of right. This period shall be renewable.

Paid C2S

Complementary health solidarity paying lasts 1 year. This period shall be renewable.

The validity period starts on 1^er the day of the month after you send the items necessary to pay the contribution requested by your health insurance organization. You have three months to send these documents.

If you do not pay the amount due to benefit from the solidarity health supplementYou will no longer be entitled to it, temporarily.

General case

Yes, you must renew the solidarity health supplement (free or paid) every year.

You must apply for renewal between 4 and 2 months before the end date (deadline) indicated on the attestation. You must apply for the renewal in the same way as the first application and attach all the documents requested.

You don't have an Ameli account

You fill out a written document giving power of attorney to a third party with the identity of the third party. You're dating and you're signing this document.

Your representative will have to arrive at one of the reception points with the following documents:

Proxy document
Copy of your ID (national ID card or passport)
His own ID

The decision tells you, if necessary, the amount you have to pay to benefit from the complementary health solidarity.

You have received a refusal but you think you meet the conditions to have the complementary health solidarity?

You have 2 months from the day you received the refusal (notification) to apply to the Amicable Appeals Board (CRA).

C2S Free

Complementary health solidarity free lasts 1 year from the date indicated on the certificate of right.

Paid C2S

Complementary health solidarity paying lasts 1 year.

If you do not pay the amount due to benefit from C2S you will no longer be entitled to it, temporarily.

Yes, you must renew the solidarity health supplement (free or paid) every year.

Renewal is automatic: you have nothing to do.
