What should I do if I lose all my ID at the same time?

Have you lost your wallet or your bag with your papers? We explain the process to follow. It varies according to whether it is the papers of an adult or a minor.

Major

Carte grise If you have lost several of the following documents at the same time: ID card, passport, driver's license, vitale card, voter card or family booklet, you must first request a new identity card or a new passport.

In fact, for the other documents to be requested, a valid piece of ID will have to be presented.

The replacement of each document shall be subject to independent application :

Once your renewal applications have been completed, the paper you have lost is permanently unusable. If you find them later, hand them over to the issuing authority (e.g. prefecture). You can't use them anymore.

Minor

If several of the following documents of a minor have been lost: identity card, passport, driver's license, vital card, first request a new identity card or a new passport.

In fact, for the other documents to be requested, a valid piece of ID will have to be presented.

The replacement of each document shall be subject to independent application :
