Can the employment contract be broken during sabbatical leave?

Yes, the employment contract of the employee on sabbatical leave may be terminated in the following cases:
- Resignation of the employee
- Dismissal on economic grounds
- Dismissal for personal reasons (e.g. if the employee is found to be at fault after leaving on sabbatical)
The employee must respect a notice if it is provided for by treaty provisions.
