You're between 16 and 25, out of the school system and out of a job? The school of the 2nde Chance offers you paid training to get into active life. Here is the information on this device.

The school of the 2nde Luck's goal is to fight school dropout. It helps you to access a qualifying education and integrate into the labour market.

You participate in the development of your project of training and social and professional integration.

The training includes an upgrade of basic knowledge (mathematics, French, computer science).

You also take company courses and individualised apprenticeships. These courses allow you to discover trades and build a professional project.

One charter of second chance schools specifies the educational means used by the device.

To enter a school in the 2e chance you must meet the following 3 criteria:

  • Between 16 and 25 years
  • Have left the school system for at least 1 year, with or without a diploma
  • Being out of work

You can enter a school in the 2nde good luck regardless of your nationality.

Registration is done throughout the year.

You have to choose a school from those of the network labelled Schools of the 2nde luck. Contact her to participate in a group information meeting and an individual interview.

The training takes place on the premises of the school of 2e luck and on the sites of the partner companies.

The route varies according to your needs.

In all cases, it takes place in 5 stages:

  • Assessment and training plan with a phase-in period
  • Discovery of trades, company internships and consolidation of basic knowledge
  • Professional project confirmation with acquisition of professional gestures
  • Job and training readiness
  • Follow-up and accompaniment up to 1 year after E2C release.

The training course usually lasts 4 to 18 months. It depends on how long it takes to acquire the knowledge and skills to fit into the workforce.

Teaching and training are free.

transport, accommodation and catering issues need to be addressed during registration so that the school can find solutions (by requesting the local mission, for example).

You get, on average, €500 per month if you are over 18. If you are between 16 and 18 years of age, the average salary is €200 per month.

The amount varies depending on your situation. It includes social protection.

This remuneration is funded by the region.

At the end of the course, a certificate of the acquired skills is issued.

One insertion assistance contract, learning contract, professionalisation contract or a qualifying course may be offered.
