Divorce, legal separation

There are 4 divorce cases. Some divorces are contentious and require going before the judge. This is the case with divorce for fault, for permanent alteration of the marital relationship or for acceptance of the principle of marriage breakdown. Conversely, divorce by mutual consent is an amicable divorce. Legal separation allows spouses to remain married, but no longer live together.
