Single Insertion Contract (SIC) - Skills Employment Path (JEP)
Verified 01 January 2023 - Directorate for Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)
The single insertion contract (CUI) combines training and/or professional support for its beneficiary and financial assistance for the employer. This State aid may vary depending, inter alia, on the region and the beneficiary public. It is designed to make it easier to hire people who have difficulty finding a job. The employment support contract (CUI-CAE) is aimed at the non-market sector. The employment initiative contract (CUI-CIE) concerns the market sector.
CUI-CAE
The CUI is an employment contract concluded between an employer who will receive financial assistance and an employee who will receive assistance for integration into the labor market. The CUI-CAE is intended for the non-commercial, public or voluntary sector.
The Skills Employment Path (JEP) replaces the CUI-CAE and strengthens coaching.
It includes:
- a tripartite interview which brings together the prescriber, the employer and the future employee at the time of signature of the aid application. It must enable the commitments to be formalized and the competences which the post must enable to be acquired from among the competences defined in an online form to be defined,
- dematerialized follow-up during the contract, which may take the form of a dematerialized follow-up booklet,
- an exit interview between the prescriber and the employee, depending on the needs of the person, between 1 and 3 months before the end of the contract.
Duration of the JEP
The target length of a journey is 12 months and the initial agreements may not be less than 9 months.
