You may need a Restricted Information Record (RIR) for business reasons or to justify your rights when your civil liability is engaged in the event of a road accident.

You can consult your RIR on the internet or make the request by email or by mail.

The online service My Points Allowed allows you to consult your restricted information record.

Consult the driving license information (points balance, restricted information statement...)

Request the RIR by mail or by email

You should contact your prefecture of residence.

Check on the prefecture website if the request is to be sent by post or by email.

Requesting the RIR by mail

Download the form Request for a Restricted Information Record (RIR) on the website of your consulate.

You need to build a case with the subsequent documents :

Send the form and documents to the prefecture that issued you the driver's license.

Consult the prefecture site to find out if the gait is done by post or by email.

If your file is complete, the prefecture sends the RIR by email to your consulate and informs you of its dispatch.
