  • Since 2023, experiments on how to support RSA recipients are currently underway in some territories of 18 departments (Aisne, Aveyron, Bouches-du-Rhône, Côte-d’Or, Creuse, Eure, Ille-et-Vilaine, Loire-Atlantique, Loiret, Mayenne, The Metropolis of Lyon, Nord, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, La Réunion, Somme, Vosges, Yonne, Yvelines)

The scheme will be generalized from 2025 as foreseen in the law of 18 december 2023 on full employment.

Each person receiving the RSA will be registered with France Travail no later than 1er january 2025 and must sign a contract of employment containing an action plan setting out its objectives for social and occupational integration.

An implementing decree must specify the procedures for implementing the contract of employment.

A young person aged between 18 and 25 years, French or foreigners, who has a certain length of professional activity may benefit from the RSA: titleContent young active under certain conditions. The calculation of the amount depends on the resources and composition of the household. To obtain the RSA, it is necessary to make a first request, then update the situation every quarter. The procedure varies according to the affiliation fund (CAF or CMSA).
