Verified 13 January 2022 - Directorate for Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)
No, the 14-year-old junior apprenticeship has been cut. You have to be at least 16 years old to sign a apprenticeship contract. This minimum age may be lowered to 15 years. To do this, you must be at least 15 years old by December 31 of calendar year where you finish your third year.
Example :
You are 14 years old in July 2022, at the end of your third year. You're going to be 15 in November 2022. In this case, you can enter training (vocational high school or apprenticeship training center) as early as the September 2022 school year and sign your apprenticeship contract at your 15th birthday.
If you want to move towards work or learning, you can make a 3rd "pre-trades.
